I've got your letter, thank you very much. Sorry to say, I've been busy lately and that's why I am writing just now. 

It's very good, that you want to be a reporter. As for me, I know all what's happening in the world from news. It's very comfortable for me. In future I am going to be a guide. I think, it is very interesting profession. I know, that English will be necessary for my proffesion because firstly, I can't understand foreign people. Secondly, English is international language and everyone should know it.
